Born and raised in Portland, Oregon, Meghan has a family background in real estate and construction.

She met Tim through her family's work and soon moved to Palmer, Alaska in 2004 and now, can't imagine living or raising their kids anywhere else.

Meghan is an active supporter of her family but takes time for some of her favorite activities and adventures — cooking, gardening, traveling and is often found with a knitting project.

Her background in construction and real estate allow her to assist Tim with managing projects. In addition, her perspective helps to facilitate decisions that benefit the company, employees, and clients.

Linnie is originally from Decatur, Illinois. She moved to Alaska at the age of twelve after her mother remarried. After graduating High School she went directly into the workforce. At eighteen she became a receptionist at an Electrical Supply Distributer in Anchorage. She then worked her way up to become their Purchasing Assistant within 2 years and then shortly after became one of the youngest District Operations Managers, at 21 years old, for their four Alaska branches. There she learned how an office environment operates, created best practices & trained numerous employees during that time. She enjoys spending her free time with her husband and their daughter, singing & dancing as well as painting on quiet Sunday mornings while listening to audio books. Her favorite part of working for H. Watt & Scott are the people she works with. H. Watt provides a positive, productive environment where everyone supports each other and works together to provide the best service.

Dennis Smedley is a lifelong Alaskan born in Ketchikan and has lived throughout Alaska. He has lived in Kodiak, Juneau, Anchorage, and Fairbanks and currently resides in Wasilla with his wife, Molly. They have four adult children. Molly’s family’s history goes back to operating a Gold Mine in Hatcher Pass in the early 1900s, and she grew up on the homestead dairy farm in Wasilla. Before Dennis’ construction career, he commercial fished out of Kodiak, owning a salmon seine vessel. Dennis graduated with political science and literature degrees from the University of Alaska, Fairbanks. During his off time, he enjoys spending time with his wife and their four adult children. He takes his dog on long walks in the mountains. He likes to BBQ (especially in winter) and generally enjoys cooking. He likes fishing, hunting, berry picking, and cutting down trees for firewood as their primary heat source.

Dennis brings 24 years of Alaska commercial construction experience to the H. Watt team. He is well-versed in commercial construction as a laborer, carpenter, foreman, superintendent, and project manager. He has completed projects ranging from $20,000.00 to $5,000,000.00. Dennis completes jobs safely, on time, and budget. He is also a certified safety professional. Dennis has completed projects in Anchorage, Fairbanks, Denali Park, Kenai, Soldotna, Homer, Kodiak, Bethel, Juneau, Ketchikan, Palmer, and Wasilla.

Dennis enjoys working with clients and helping make their visions a reality. In construction, there are challenges, changes, and details. Dennis faces these challenges head-on and communicates understanding and options with owners. Dennis is a team player and has worked with many subcontractors going on 20+ years. Dennis enjoys building.

Growing up in Texas, Loren moved to Wyoming where he began working in construction and in the oil industry.

Loren was recruited to H. Watt & Scott and moved to Alaska in 1991 where he operated as a Carpenter, Foreman, and now as a Superintendent — where he ensures jobs run correctly from start to finish.

When not working, Loren in an avid outdoorsman with fishing, hunting, camping, snow machining, ATVs and spending time with his family.

Born and raised in Anchorage, Alaska, Joel began spending time on job sites as soon as he could walk. 

Starting H. Watt & Scott as a part-time employee at age 15 and easily transitioned to full-time after graduating high school. His career has progressed from laborer and learning the skills needed to transition into carpenter, foreman, and is now a superintendent.

As a superintendent, Joel enjoys taking each project from concept to completion smoothly and efficiently.

Victor is from Quadra Island, British Columbia and brings with him over 30-years construction industry experience from the Pacific Northwest.

Victor enjoys doing quality work with a great team.  

When not working, he enjoys playing drums, landscaping his home, and good food.

Brennon was born and raised here in Alaska. 

He has 15 years of general contracting experience. Brennon enjoys the outdoors, hunting, fishing, camping, snow machining, and exploring. He also likes to spend his down time with my family and friends. What he enjoys about working at H. Watt & Scott, is being able to see a job start from nothing and watch as it all comes together into a beautifully finished product and seeing the customer happy with their new build

Born in Seattle, Washington, my family settled in Alaska in the 60s — started elementary school in Anchorage.

45 years in the construction field with 20+ years of that in estimating/project management experience.

I used to compete with H Watt for work and came to admire their competitive edge and quality of work. Came to work for H Watt and found that management holds the same values as myself regarding the supplying of a project with proper supervision and always producing a quality product for the client.

Love to hunt and fish and cook the results.
